LGBT Community Takes Over the Volksfest: Every summer, the famous Sommerdom hosts a colorful festival spectacle in Hamburg. Many thrilling rides, great attractions, and of course plenty of drink stands draw visitors to the Heiligengeistfeld. On Rainbow Day (Thursday), the colorful festivities are all about diversity and tolerance. This is where Hamburg’s LGBT community gathers to spend a fun evening together.
