LGBT highlight in West Germany. For over 30 years, a queer get-together takes place in the North Rhine-Westphalian metropolis of Bielefeld in the international Pride Month of June. For a week, the lively city attracts followers of the LGBT community from all over the region and fascinates with a varied program. During this popular week, there are great sporting events, bar evenings and of course cultural highlights such as exhibitions and book presentations. The march through the city center is the highlight on Saturday.
