Montreal Pride Parade: Great Street Festival
When Montreal hosts the world's second largest Gay Pride in a French-speaking city- legendary Fierté Montreal- members of the LGBT community come from all over the world. For 11 days the vibrant city offers gay culture, parties and lots of fun. A fantastic highlight of the Pride celebrations is the big parade on Sunday right across the city center. Lovingly decorated trucks, colorful foot troops and sometimes even the president of Canada himself transform Montreal into one happy street party full of love and tolerance.
