Every August with the legendary Pride Week a queer spectacle of superlatives takes place in Copenhagen. The highlight of the colorful celebrations and varied events is the big parade across the city, which always takes place on Saturday. Thousands of participants and spectators line the streets and cute allies of the Danish capital to demonstrate for tolerance. Lovingly decorated trucks and foot groups transform the city center into a bright play of colors.
