Gay carnival 2026 Cologne on Schaafenstraße
The popular gay bars Mumu, Iron, ExCorner, Kinkz und Exile celebrate together on Schaafenstraße. From Thursday 11:11 am until well into the night of Ash Wednesday.

Admission: Session wristband for all days, advance booking €40 (Mon & Tue), then €50

Nubbelverbrennung in Schaafenstraße:
In 2026, the Nubbel will once again be up to mischief and will be burned as punishment. The carnival season ends with the city's most spectacular burning of the Nubbel. Hosted by Pam Pengco and Chrytal Math, the ritual begins at around 10 pm before the Nubbel is consigned to the flames shortly before midnight. Afterwards, the celebrations and mourning continue in the bars. Admission is free.
