Yes, it´s true I am huge fan of Berlin´s famous BKA Theater located in the district of Kreuzberg as I´ve seen some really amazing performances here. Finally, I have managed to watch the notorious late night show of Berlin's popular drag queen Jurassica Parker “Paillette geht immer” (which means something like: sequin always works).
The show starts pretty late at 11:30pm, but it's Saturday and hey, anyway too early for Berghain yet. Right at the beginning of the show, Jurassica - dressed, of course, in a sparkling sequin lewk - heats up the crowded foyer of the BKA Theater. She funnily interacts and jokes with her audience, quickly creating an intimate and familiar living room atmosphere. When Jurassica reveals the secret of her perfectly rounded ass, she finally also twists the few straight guests around her little finger. Jurassica knows what she's doing.
It´s the show´s concept that Jurassica invites a more or less prominent star to each issue of the show to rock the stage together with him or her. Giant shortcoming for me this evening: I do not know this evening´s star guest; it is Nilz Bokelberg- a former Viva moderator- obviously, there have been others than Gülcan and Coliien Fernandes. First, I'm skeptical that the rest of the evening would be boring for me now, but luckily the opposite happens. Of course, the likeable Nilz is not on a stage for the first time either. The two presenters skillfully play funny punch lines, are not embarrassed by any cheeky answer and finally rock the house down with a terrible but super funny karaoke act.

Toby says … This show is really entertaining, funny and guarantees lots of fun. Jurassica Parker hosts with ease through the almost two-hour show, doing the balancing act between stand-up comedy and good preparation.
