East Side Gallery - Berlin Wall Graffiti Berlin
Photographer: Pinksider

What once was the Berlin Wall is today the world´s longest open air gallery. Located between Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof you can find the longest preserved part of the original wall which divided the German capital between 1961 and 1989. Today the last pieces of the wall are covered with graffiti paintings from artists from all over the world. The colorful 1.3 km wall received protected memorial status in 1990 and belongs to Berlin´s most popular touristic highlights these days.
