Berlin´s Top Malls

In the last years more and more stylish and modern shopping malls have opened their doors in Berlin. The popular spots are spread all over the city and attract local shopaholics and tourists at the same time. One of the most popular malls is Bikini Berlin. The traditional complex is located next to the city´s zoo in the west part of Berlin and is home to trendy boutiques, designer stores and art galleries. From the famous monkey bar on top of the building you can have a great look into the zoo.

Opened in 2014 the Mall of Berlin in Mitte has made its way to one of the city´s most favorite shopping spots. The massive building offers a huge amount of shops and stores. You find all the popular mid-range brands here and dozens of restaurants and food places located in a fantastic food court.

The legendary KaDeWe is Berlin´s and probably Germany´s most known department store. The traditional address has been a shopping paradise for more than 100 years and offers a big range of luxury goods and high quality stuff. Here you can find all the world´s famous designer labels and exclusive brands. The food hall on the sixth floor offers exquisite delicacies from all around the globe.

Galeries Lafayette situated in Friedrich Street is another well-known high class shopping address which convinces with a huge assortment of luxury labels and designer brands. All your fashion dreams and wishes will probably get fulfilled here.

Berlin´s Top Markets

Besides all the great indoor shopping facilities and venues there are also some great markets spread all over Berlin. The flea market at Mauerpark takes place every Sunday and is a touristic magnet. You can find everything here from antique household goods to vintage denim jackets. This market is really worth a visit and surprises with its unique charm and atmosphere.

The Turkish flea market at Maybachufer is another highlight that shouldn´t be missed. The popular market with dozens of stalls takes place every Tuesday and Friday. People from all over Berlin come here to purchase colorful fabrics, materials or Arabic delights.

Berlin´s Top Shopping Streets

The city´s most notorious shopping street is called Kurfürstendamm and is located in the neighborhood of Charlottenburg. The legendary street is home to hundreds of fashion shops, boutiques and stores. You can easily spend hours while walking up and down the street enjoying a fabulous shopping trip.
