My restaurant recommendation for culinary from Tel Aviv in Berlin. The stylish MANI Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the popular Hotel MANI on the pulsating Torstraße in Berlin Mitte.
Even at first glance, the restaurant captivates me with its charm. The decor here is elegant and stylish, while exuding a cozy living room atmosphere, in which I immediately feel comfortable. Lovely decoration elements and attention to detail create a unique flair. Since I am a bit too early, I first approve a glass of Riesling and sit outside. The staff is attentive and helpful from the first moment.
Israeli cuisine has been the trend in Berlin for some time now, and you can probably find more hummus shops here at the moment than in Tel Aviv. But MANI´s menu is very different from the restaurants I know. The menu features a variety of dishes that invite you to share and main courses that sound very sophisticated and creative.
I opt for scallops and wild salmon as a starter and the grill plate as a main course. As the totally friendly restaurant manager, who is also my waiter, served the appetizer, my mouth is already watering. Both scallops and salmon are fresh and perfectly flavored - they also fit perfectly into my high-protein diet! The grill plate in the connection exceeds my expectations. On point steak, chicken and lamb, served with spicy dips and sauces. I feel like in meat heaven.
MANI Restaurant is a great place to enjoy and fall in love with Israeli dishes in a delicious new way. Here you can eat together with friends or spend a romantic date. For locals and visitors a must. Yammy.
