I've always been a big fan of Asian food, and I love Japanese delicacies in particular. Therefore, I was very happy when I recently tried the trendy Berlin sushi restaurant Sticks'n'Sushi.
The restaurant belongs to a successful Danish gastronomic chain and has enjoyed great popularity in the German capital for some time now. Together with a friend and a big appetite, I made my way to Charlottenburg to test the famous sushi sensation myself.
The public transport connection to the place is excellent. The city´s sushi hot spot is really great to reach and easy to find. Already at the beginning of our visit, I noticed the stylish interior and the classic ambience. The whole design seemed upscale and inviting. The menu is quite extensive and offers a lot of different sushi creations and other Japanese classics. The service here was great anyway: friendly, fast and competent!
There are many offers for two, so Sticks'n'Sushi is definitely a great place for dates too! I ordered the "Perfect Day" plate as well as the wine of the day. After only a short time, my order was served and there was even a short explanation from the waiter about the food. The different types of sushi tasted great, were fresh and really authentic. My wine was perfect for the food and of course I ordered again. Afterwards, I treated myself to the dessert plate, which included delicious ice cream, rice desserts and fresh fruit variations. It was fantastic!
