Mercure Hotel Berlin City: Trärchen test trendy hotel in Berlin-Mitte
Perfect location
The well-known hotel offers its guests an excellent location: Situated in Berlin-Mitte, the main train station, the natural history museum as well as famous Mauerpark are only a few minutes away. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you will also find great restaurants, bars and shops.
Cozy rooms
During our stay we lived in a so called Privilege Room with a double bed on the 6th floor. The room was very good overall, as it was very bright and had both a large TV and a minibar. From our room we had a wonderful view of the beautiful garden of the house. Despite the central location, it was always quiet and relaxed inside the room.
Great Food & Drinks
Our overnight stay also included a breakfast, which of course we were especially looking forward to on the second day. Luckily, there was a rich buffet waiting for us in the breakfast room, which corresponded to all our expectations. In addition to various coffee variations we also found various cheeses, tasty bread rolls and fresh fruits. Egg dishes and other hot snacks were also available. A special highlight for us was the waffle station where you could prepare and decorate your own sweet waffle.
The Mercure Hotel also boasts an inviting restaurant terrace that is popular with both hotel guests and visitors. The restaurant offers international food and delicacies. The stylish hotel bar is open every evening until 10.30pm and is the ideal place to enjoy a delicious drink.
LGBT proofed!
Due to the hotel's central location, the city's queer hot spots can be easily reached by public transport. The gay district of Berlin-Schöneberg and also the club and bar in the eastern part of the city can be reached in approx. 20 minutes. The hotel staff was always friendly and very courteous.
