At the end of July , when the annual Pride takes place in Berlin, thousands of queer visitors from all over the world will make their way to Germany's colorful capital. The international guests are then offered a multitude of grandiose events and happenings. The spectrum ranges from music concerts to theater performances to comedy shows and, of course, great parties.
Already a week before Pride, there´s a lot going on in queer Berlin. Legendary gay and lesbian street party attracts the LGBT community to the queer district of Schöneberg. The huge street festival takes place around Motzstraße and on different stages Berlin artists show their skills. At numerous information stands you can also inform yourself about Berlin's amazing gay scene.
Without a doubt, the spectacular CSD Berlin parade through Berlin - past world-famous sights - is the absolute highlight of Berlin Pride. Lovingly decorated trucks then make their way through the Tiergarten to the Brandenburg Gate. The Pride Parade is a colourful spectacle that celebrates diversity and acceptance. Every year, the colourful parade makes its way through the capital and sends out a strong signal for LGBTQ+ rights and equality.
