Siegessäule: Bright landmark of Berlin

A visit to Siegessäule is part of every Berlin trip: From the platform at a height of around 51 meters, you have a wonderful panoramic view all over the green Tiergarten and the rest of the city. The 8.3-meter-high and 35-ton bronze sculpture depicts Victoria with a laurel wreath, a wonderful helmet and an iron cross field sign. Viktoria is the goddess of victory in Roman mythology.
