The main parade takes place on the last Saturday of the pride week, normally during the second week of August.
The highlight of each Pride is the Pride Parade, like the Prague Parade in Prague. Flooded with numerous rainbow colors and flags, the parade marches through the capital of the Czech Republic. With the ever-increasing number of participants the parade is growing steadily from year to year and hereis usually takes place on Saturdays as the closing event of the Pride Week. Traditionally the starting point is Wenceslas Square, from where the participants move on through the center to the park on the Letná level, w a grand open-air party takes place at the end for the parade. It is the most shrill, largest and loudest event of the Pride Week and it´s the absolute highlight of the summer among the Czechs and therefore also a must for all international Pride fans.
