Prague´s largest gay event – Prague Pride
Prague is in no way inferior to other European metropolis and since 2008 it has also been supporting the LGTB culture. Prague held its first gay pride in 2011 and was an instant success with around one million people attending the 7 day event. The Pride has become one of the biggest events in Central and Eastern Europe. The event focuses on the rights of gay people especially in Central Europe. Guest lectures and cultural events take pride of place and side by side with circuit parties, concerts and exhibitions. Last but not least, the Prague Pride Week is the perfect reason to party a whole week, especially because numerous extraordinary club and bar events are scheduled for this very special week.
