Belgian Pride: Rainbow Village Realness
Brussels' craziest weekend
Every year, international members of the LGBT community meet in Brussels on the first weekend after May 17, the International Day against Homophobia. In Belgium's vibrant capital, a whole weekend is then promoted for tolerance and equality. The absolute place to be is the so called Rainbow Village, an area right in the middle of the city center, where concerts are held all weekend long and well-known DJs play their best sets. There are of course also LGBT related information booths.
