Amsterdam Pride: Europe's most spectacular Pride
A whole country celebrates the queer way of life
Amsterdam's Pride is undoubtedly one of the most exciting in the world. Long before CSDs became popular and every city adorned itself with a Pride, the capital of the liberal Netherlands has been celebrating loudly and visibly the rights of queer minorities for decades. At the end of July / beginning of August, the beautiful metropolis will be transformed into a single open air party with countless stages, bars and programs. Great parties, events and exhibitions attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world. The highlight of the event is the unique Canal Pride Parade.
