Van Gogh Museum: Masterpieces of a Genius

The largest collection of the Dutch painter

The Museumsplein in the south of Amsterdam is home to one of the most important museums in Europe. The Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of paintings by the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh and is one of the most visited museums in the world. Last year, more than two million visitors admired the works of the painter. Vincent Van Gogh, who was barely able to sell a single one of his paintings during his lifetime, is one of the most famous painters in the world and is regarded as the founder of modern painting.
