My most beautiful places in Berlin: Tobi's favourite places

For some years now I have been living in the exciting city of Berlin and still feel very well here. The German capital offers simply unlimited opportunities for leisure activities and there is always something new to discover and explore. The huge cultural offer, the wild nightlife and the many parks make life here really worth living. Although the city is constantly changing and evolving, there are some great places I keep coming back to:
Märchenbrunnen at Volkspark Friedrichshain
Right on the edge of the popular Volkspark Friedrichshain you can find one of my favorite places in the city. The beautiful font enchants its visitors with several fountains, water-breathing frog statues and inviting benches. Highlights of the spot are, of course, the lovely stone figures around the fountain, which depict scenes from different fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. I love this magical place especially for dates and drinks.

Mauerpark in Prenzlauer Berg
In the trendy Prenzlauer Berg district you will find the famous Mauerpark. Here you can relax, enjoy the sunset and meet friends. I like to come here especially on Sundays when the park turns into a big flea market. Here you will find great antiques, stylish second-hand fashion and, of course, some useless stuff. In a kind-of amphitheater artists and wannabes prove their musical talents and the various snack bars offer delicacies from all over the world.

Weißer See in Pankow
In Berlin, there are a variety of lakes that are spread all over the entire city. Every summer, therefore, most Berliners head to one of the amazing water spots. Of course, everyone has their personal favorite here. My favorite inner city lake is called Weißer See. This lake is super easy to reach and convinces with large, green fields and a well-kept outdoor pool. I prefer to take my inflatable plastic boat with me and just relax in the middle of the blue water.
